I've been reading Naruto for over ten years now (this fact occasionally alarms me, but then I tell myself that I'm not really old, I just had the good fortune to have Shonen Jump to read as a teenager), and though I often fall behind on Naruto, I always come back to it eventually. Volume #53 is a great example of just why that is. After all these years, Masashi Kishimoto continues to deliver stories that are by turns exciting, unnerving, and moving. Though I'm sorry that we probably won't get to see more of Naruto's parents for a while, it was great to finally learn how he became the Nine Tails jinchuriki. Now that Naruto has learned to control Nine Tales a bit better, volume #54 promises to be pretty action packed. Who knows? Maybe I'll still be reading Naruto ten years from now...Product details

as a naruto fan i pride myself on getting the best of the best when it comes to naruto and this manga was no exception it was worth the price and the shipping was fast as well if you are a collector like me or are just looking for a book to pass the time i suggest you buy this as soon as possible trust me you wont regret it
Our 11 y/o is finally enjoying to read because of these books. I haven't the slightest clue as to what they are about, but he sure does and he loves them. No more fighting to get him to complete his 1 hour of mandatory reading/day. Often times, he can put the books down ( I am slowly buying him the monster collection of Naruto books that he has wanted.
The condition of this book was as described, brand new. There were no nicks or little tears anywhere, and it arrived before the expected delivery date! All my expectations have been met and I am proud to give this a 5 out of 5 rating!

Working on buying the entire set and this has been the most affordable way to do it. These are the only books our 11 y/o will read without being threatened with torture. I have no idea what all this Naruto stuff is all about, but it's something that has helped him get his daily 1 hour of reading in, and now he will voluntarily ready more, often losing track of time.
Trying to read this on the Fire HD 8.9 is a short trip to a headache. It's just enough out of focus that your eyes constantly struggle to adjust. VIZ has it's own reader (in the App) and store- the same volume is much clearer on my Fire. Sort of bummed- I don't like having a ton of "collections" to maintain. Another thing to consider with VIZManga you can read your copies via the browser, there is no support (yet) for reading on any PC software. The price is rarely discounted, however.
This is the first manga I've tried. Not quite brave enough to try another yet, but I'll update here if I do.
The book itself is great.

I did get another VIZ title "Yakitate!! Japan" and it is just as blurry. I did also try these on the Paperwhite- it _is_ more acceptable at the smaller screen size. I don't feel I can give it any more than 1 star, however. When the quality at least matches what Viz sells directly, I'll adjust accordingly.
Note that I have also tried on the Fire HDX 8.9 and see the same results there. Feedback to was useless- they suggest to try downloading again.
